You must still do the basics such as vacuuming, mopping, and laundry even if housework probably is not your favorite activity. When we talk about a bedroom, cleanliness is the first thing that comes to your mind.

 Home

To improve the condition of your respiratory system, breathing dusty air and lying near grime for eight hours each night you’re asleep does nothing. It can even cause flare up of allergy or asthma symptoms if you are susceptible.

But other than just changing the sheets each week and vacuuming the floors, there is more to a really clean bedroom. Do not forget to clean the following aspects if you really want to get down and fight against allergens.

     Ceiling Fan

It is true that it is not easy to see the top of your ceiling blades but you will surely be shocked at the amount of accumulated dust if you climb the bed or a chair to take a look. The dust will fly out in the air then slowly setting all over your bed and all over you the moment you switch that fan to enjoy a cooling breeze on a sweltering summer night.

Stand safely on a chair, mattress, or a stepstool and slide a pillowcase over each blade, in turn, using fabric in to contain the dust and as well the mess. Shake the pillowcase outside and then toss it in the wash when you finish.

    Mattress

You must not forget to clean your mattress as you wash your sheets. Mattresses gather dust, shed hair, skin flakes, sweat, and body oils as well as accumulate dust mites. As you climb into bed each night, it is truly not a pleasant thought. Sprinkle baking soda over the surface of your mattress and then vacuum it thoroughly while the bedding is in the wash.

Flip the mattress head to toe to cut down on the development of sags and valleys once you are done. With your clean sheets, remake the bed and enjoy a good night’s sleep free of allergens and dust mites.

    Under the Bed

Many people only vacuum around the bed but disregard underneath it.  For dust bunnies, that is their prime breeding ground.  To suck away the dust build up from under your bed, take an extra couple of minutes and use your vacuum’s hose attachment.  Your nose and lungs will surely be thankful.

    Closet Floor

On vacuuming day, this area is typically forgotten. It is true that moving your shoes and laundry basket is a tedious work; however, you will be glad that you took the time to clean it when you see the amount of dust that perfectly hides.

    Humidifier or Air Purifier

On arid winter nights, a bedside works by restoring the moisture that central heating sucks away from your skin, eyes, and throat. It is very effective to remove dust, germs, and chemicals from the air you breathe.

It is crucial that you clean them because they can become health hazards if left unclean, you can do it by yourself or you can also hire professionals such as air duct cleaning Rockford IL to thoroughly clean it for you.
